On January 20, 2025 the Foundation held its first Basketball Showcase.

The goal of the Showcase was to provide an opportunity for the middle school athletes to demonstrate their abilities to high school coaches in hopes of generating interest in recruitment, which could lead to scholarship funding. Three basketball games were played throughout the day. All participants played for free and were given a custom made DCF jersey. Several high school coaches and NY scouts were in attendance. In addition, three high school scholarships were awarded.
